He was predeceased by: his mother Augustina Rosales Mauricio; and his parents-in-law, Ignacio Flores Cantu and Gloria Aurora Cantu. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Cantu Mauricio; his children, Lyle Anthony Mauricio (Lori Elizabeth Sandoval) and Miclynn Marie Mauricio; his pets, Gervin and Kenzo "Schizo"; his brother Reynaldo Reyes; and his close friend Steven Patrick McHugh.

In true Michael fashion, and in lieu of flowers, the family asks that you tip your bartenders—a gesture he would've appreciated and probably insisted on.
