He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Herrera Daugherty; his stepchildren, Luis Daniel Hernandez Jr. and Rochelle Angelique Leal; and his siblings-in-law, Henry, Alex (Tina), Cipriano, Robert Herrera (Irma), Estela Herrera and Betty Rosas. He is also survived by seven granddaughters; one great-grandson; numerous nieces and nephews.
