He was predeceased by: his wife Jesusa Trinidad Castillo; his parents, Manuel Rodriguez and Ester Rodriguez; his siblings, Manuel, Alfred, Alejandro, Joe and Mary Castillo; and his granddaughter Regina Castillo.

He is survived by: his children, Rachel Torres (Joe), Raymond Castillo (Sherry), Robert Castillo, Roy Castillo, Becky Herrera, Rita Ramirez, Rosanna Ramirez, Rosemary Maroti (Jaime), Rufina Wallace (Robert), Rosario Castillo and Ruben Castillo; and his brother Jesse. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren, six great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (409 W Krezdorn St, Seguin, TX 78155). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the San Geronimo Cemetery (1620 E Walnut St, Seguin, TX 78155).
