He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Inez Rodriguez Melendez and Delfino Rodriguez; his siblings, Jose Rodriguez Melendez, Gerardo Rodriguez Melendez, Juana Rodriguez Melendez, Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez Melendez and Esperanza Rodriguez Melendez; and his daughter Marie Inez Rodriguez Hubbard.

He is survived by: his wife Esmeralda Rodriguez; his sons, Robert Rodriguez (Siria) and Anthony Rodriguez; his grandchildren, Destiny Vigil (Abron), Jeffery Hubbard and Jrue Hubbard; and his great grandchildren, Arilynn Rosas and Abron Carrillo. He is also survived by four brothers, three sisters and numerous other family members.
