He was predeceased by: his parents, Helena Reimer (Funk) and John Reimer. He is survived by: his wife Anna Reimer of Seminole; his children, John Reimer (Stephanie) of Seminole, Frank Reimer (Tina) of Seminole, David Reimer of Seminole and Tina Reimer of Seminole; and his siblings, Heinrich Reimer (Aganetha) of Mexico, George Reimer (Anna) of Mexico, Helena Neufeld of Canada, Anna Neufeld of Mexico and Susanna Enns (Jacob) of Mexico. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
