He was predeceased by: his parents, Mariabelen Perez (Bazan) and Encarnacion Perez. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Perez of Seminole; his stepchildren, Jefferson VanBuren (Tammy) of Shallowater, Texas and Roetta Majano of Lamesa, Texas; his sister Joanna Rodriguez (John) of Seminole; and his adoptive children, Jimmy Hall of Seminole, Chapo Hernandez of Whiterock, Texas, Jose Garcia of Whiterock, Texas and Shelby Lara (Gilbert, Jr.) of Seminole. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
