It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Athen Cecil Lowrie (Seminole, Texas), who passed away on May 24, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Lowrie and Lora Mae Lowrie; his sons, Kenneth and Doug (LynnAnne); his grandchildren, Makenzie Francisco, Kendel Lowrie, Lacee Bingham, Braidy Bingham, Athen Michael and Kendrick; his brother Tommy; his grandson Kenten; his wife Glenda; his sister Barbara Uselton of Denton, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Everleigh, Elliott and Emmett. He was also cherished by his sons and daughters-in-law; his seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials to Westview Boys' Home in Hollis, Oklahoma would be appreciated.
