In the sacred silence of farewell, Mark is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mark's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his parents, Dave Oxford and Sue Oxford of Seymour; his daughter Nikki Brandes (Josh); his granddaughters, Nadia and Zelda of Wichita, Kansas; his son Matt Oxford (McKenna) of Ferndale, Michigan; his siblings, Troy Oxford (Tauwalee) of Wichita Falls and SuLynn Latham (Teddy) of Levelland; and his former wife Sandy Oxford of Coppell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Archer Funeral Home (111 N Cedar St, Seymour, TX 76380). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (420 N Washington St, Seymour, TX 76380).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made In Memory of Mark Oxford to the Benjamin Senior Scholarship Fund, c/o Stacia Propps, Benjamin ISD, P.O. Box 166, Benjamin, Texas 79505.
