He was predeceased by : his parents, J. C. Wright and Dot Massey Wright (Doris Massey); and his sister Debbie Sosolik. He is survived by : his wife Charlotte Wright; his sons, Michael Wright (Angela) and Cody Wright (Audra); his grandsons, Carter, Grant, Lyndon and Harris Wright; his siblings, Joe Pat Wright (Barbara), Gary Wright (Vickie) and Nancy Robertson (Jack); and his brother-in-law Bobby Sosolik.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (206 N Cedar St, Seymour, TX 76380). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
