It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Garrett of Shallowater, Texas, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Nidey and Mildred Nidey. She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy VanBuren (Jeff) of Shallowater and Trisha Garrett of Lubbock; her siblings, Keith Nidey (Debbie) of Lamar, CO, Shirley Chenoweth of Lamar, CO and Patsy Wyly (Paul) of Hereford, TX; her grandchildren, Brittney, Brandon, Atlante and Jessica; and her great grandchildren, Roxy, Bentley, Kayden of Sophia, D. J., Henlee, Zoiee, Kohen, Thea and Saphira. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
