It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Hawthorne of Shepherd, Texas, born in Cleveland, Texas, who passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Harvey A. Hawthorne, Edna Hawthorne, Lige Walters and Dovie Walters; and his siblings, Harvey E. Hawthorne, Jr. and Carla R. Hoard.

He is survived by : his wife Glinda Hawthorne; his daughter Erin Hawthorne Goad (Roy); his sister Carol Hawthorne; and his grandson Donald "Lance" Goad.
