She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Powell (Gary) of Shepherd, Sonya Ray (Dennis) of Shepherd and Kayla Thiessen (Tom) of Combine, Texas; her stepson Kevin Smith of San Augustine; her grandchildren, Tiffany Sowell (Scooter), Brandy Smith, Ronnie Clark (Megan), Ryan LaRue, Jacob Powell (Genavie) and Matthew Powell (Brittney); her great grandchildren, Coltin, Carleigh, Kyndal, Kaylyn, Bella, Miles, Jett, Paisley, Ty, Trey and Tanner; her great great grandchild Kamdin; and her pet Snickers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Starr Funeral Home Chapel (510 Starr St, Hemphill, TX 75948). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
