She is survived by: her parents, Sandra Kaye Wratislew Penrod and Charles Riffe; her son Zachary Nelson (Doey); her grandchildren, Baylee Nelson, Blythe Nelson and Sloan Nelson; her brother Jack Penrod; and her stepsiblings, Sonja Riffe and Tony Riffe (Tammy Pierce).
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Pace-Stancil Chapel (303 E Crockett St, Cleveland, TX 77327). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Farley Chapel Cemetery (5241 FM 2666, Shepherd, TX 77371).
