He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Y. Welch and Annie "Mildred" Sims Welch; and his sisters, Jeanne "Doby" Taylor and Iris "Annette" Bridges. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Baze Welch; his children, Albert "Mark" Welch (Laura) of Pattonville and Jackie Welch Shaffer (Clint) of Era; his grandchildren, Matthew, Carter, Andrea, Shelby, Kirsten and Anna; his great grandchildren, Jettson and Jaxston; his brothers, Robert, Stanley and Charles; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Baze, Letha Baze and Charles Bridges. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
