It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arvil Gene McDaniel in Sherman, Texas, born in Heber Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Everett McDaniel and Lucille McDaniel (Pope); his siblings, Billy McDaniel and Laverne Booten; his wife Odena McDaniel; and his former life partner Wendelene McDaniel.

He is survived by : his grandchildren, Lisa Snapp, Lana VanZant, Dr. Connie Fiore, Dr. Courtney Stone, Hunter McDaniel, Hudson McDaniel, James McDaniel, Sutton McDaniel, Malayna McDaniel and Matthew McDaniel; his great grandchild Balynn Snapp; his grandchildren, Barett Snapp, Khloe VanZant, Jaxon VanZant, Pippa McDaniel, Penelope Stone, Sophia Fiore, Salem McDaniel and Declan McDaniel; and his son Kirk McDaniel.
