It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Ray Sims of Sherman, Texas, born in Van Alstyne, Texas, who passed away on May 21, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Sims and Lucy Sims; his former wife Evelyn Sims; and his grandson Jared Kendrick. He is survived by: his wife Diana Sims of Sherman; his children, Debbie Nicholson of Van Alstyne, Susan (Rodney Ratcliff) of Whitewright, Glenda Kendrick of Whitewright, Billy Holt of Denison and Frank Holt of Dallas, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Warren Schultz, Whitney Falcon, Tyler Nicholson, Daianara Nicholson, Dylan Kendrick, Grant Ratcliff, Tamara Ratcliff and Rocky Ratcliff.
