With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Danny Joe Borah of Sherman, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Jack Borah and Willa Mae Borah; his sister Carol Sue Reinhard; his father-in-law Dean Humphrey; and his close friend Don Hunger of Sherman Texas.
He is survived by: his wife Sonja Borah of Sherman Texas; his son Danny Joe (Tara Borah) of Shamrock Texas; his grandchild Colten Borah of Sherman Texas; his brothers, Donny (Shelly Borah) of Pottsboro Texas and Jimmy Glen (Lynda Borah) of Denison Texas; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Humphrey of Sherman, Texas.; and his grandchild Sawyer Crites.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dannel Funeral Home (302 S Walnut St, Sherman, TX 75090). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Greater Harvest North Church and Pastor Charles Niblet.
