She was predeceased by : her parents, Bill Atkins and Dorothy Atkins; her husband Paul Griffin; and her siblings, Don Atkins (Mary) and Diane Stevens.

She is survived by : her daughter Kristina Cooper (Monty) of Denison; her granddaughter Jessica Medaris (Thomas) of Sherman; her great grandchild Ethan Smith of Sherman; her brother David Atkins (Elaine) of Forestburg; her nephew Matt Atkins (Christina) of Denton; her great-niece Cara Slater (Derek) of Boyd; and her great-nephew Cade Slater. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Denison Animal Welfare group (D.A.W.G.) in Debbie's name.
