She was predeceased by: her parents, D. E. "Doc" Hance and Marie Hance (Thompson); her brother Ricky Hance; and her grandson Stephen Connor III. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Connor, Sr.; her children, Stephen Connor, Jr. (Shannon) of Denison, Texas, Rodney Connor (Elizabeth) of Frisco, Texas and Nicole Gordon (Kenneth) of Alva, Florida.; her siblings, Dean Hance (Phyllis) of Savoy, Texas, Kay Moore (Doug) of Sherman, Texas and Gary Hance (Sharon) of Durant, Oklahoma; and her cousin U. S. Congressman Kent Hance. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
