She is survived by: her sons, David Perkins and John Perkins; her grandson Wesley Perkins (Jenny Doss); her sons, Jesse Perkins and Dan Perkins (Donna Perkins); her granddaughter Kristen Perkins Glover (Rube Glover III); and her great grandchildren, Adeline Glover and Katie Perkins Clark (Alex Clark).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church to the Dorothy O. Perkins AntiRacism Fund.
