Eugene Brown Obituary

Eugene “Gene” L. Brown, was welcomed into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on March 10, 2019. He was 85 years of age. Gene was an avid sportsman, boater, and a fan of Texas Hold’em. Most of all he was a servant to those he held close and loved most. Gene was a 1951 graduate of East High School in Wichita, Kansas. He was a Home Builder and Contractor for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his father Newman Brown and his mother Ruth Mart Brown. He leaves his bride of 67 years, Maxine Estella Day Brown; children, Kirwin “Kirk” Brown (Sharon), Connie West (Tim), and Pamela Lyle. He was Grandpa to Carolyn Brown, Keith Brown (Tamara), Hailey Knab; Veronica Knab, Jeffery West, Holly West, and Great Grandpa to Braedyn Brown, and Abigail “Abbie” Griffin. We wish to recognize the loving care provided by Dr. Rawitscher & his staff at Baylor Scott & White Legacy Heart Center.
