It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Edgar James of Sherman, Texas, born in Temple, Texas, who passed away on February 27, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, C. B. James and Helen James. He is survived by: his wife Judy Jacks of Sherman; his sons, Jason James (Kassidy) of Flower Mound, TX. and Joel James (Lisa) of Katy, TX.; his grandchildren, Anna, Hartley, Wyatt, Emily, Eleanor and Eden; and his brother Mike James (Patti) of Waco, TX.. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
