John Dollar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Dollar of Sherman, Texas, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Dollar and Joy Dollar; and his siblings, Clair Cummings, Lane Jimmy and Marcus Dollar.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Dollar; his sister Margaret Helvy (Billy Helvy); and his sons, Joel Dollar (Kari Dollar), Michael Dollar (Christina Dollar) and Randall Dollar (Serena Dollar). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and seven bonus grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dannel Funeral Home (302 S Walnut St, Sherman, TX 75090). A reception will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Tributes may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, John endured Alzheimer's the last 5 years of his life.
