He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Howard Franklin and Vonnie Jane Anderson Franklin; and his grandparents, John, Luvenia Franklin, Docus and Pallie Anderson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Otis Jr., Dorsey, Charles and Betty; his children, Ronald Franklin and Belinda Franklin; his grandchildren, Jason, Travis, Candace Franklin, Otis, Jake Franklin, Boe, Erik Webster, Dylan Franklin, Albey, Jaimah and Tarrah Simmons; and his great grandchildren, Elijah, Dakota, Taitum, Linkin Doak Webster, Camberlee, Jason Byrd, Chevy, Keely, Nitrous and Harley Winchester.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home (619 N Travis St, Sherman, TX 75090). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel (619 N Travis St, Sherman, TX 75090).
