He is survived by: his wife Patsy Briggs of Sherman; and his children, Ricky Briggs of Sherman, Steven Briggs (Joanna) of Ratan, NM, David Briggs (Vicki) of Heath, TX and Pamela Bentley (Bobby) of Sherman. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
