She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Wheelus, Sr.; her daughter Jerelyn Strickland; her parents, Rev. John Ward and Monnie Ward; her siblings, Amy Bolding, Naomi Nyberg, Nancy Ward and John Ward; her grandson Cody Strickland; and her nephew Monty Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Eleanor Jill Hill Deaton and Paul M. Wheelus, Jr.; her grandchildren, Cam Brown and Molly Brown Holcomb Cory (Lance); her great grandchild Gary Brown; and her sibling's children, James Bolding (Barbara), Rebecca Green and Jill Ward.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dannel Funeral Home (302 S Walnut St, Sherman, TX 75090). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jul Funeral Service. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Friendship Cemetery (293 Friendship Rd, Sherman, TX 75092).
