He is survived by: his friend Patricia Wilson; his wife Mary; his great grandchildren, Andy Taylor (Henrika), Kathryn Mercer, Richard Taylor (Mandy), Shelley Burley (Jeff), Cathryn Brock (David) and Matt Sims; his grandchildren, Lily Taylor, Karyn Byers (AJ), Dalton Marchuk, Parker Taylor, Mallory Taylor, Reid Burley (Karly), Blake Burley (Monica), Marcial Brock (Madeline), Mary Claire Morrow (Jake), McLain Brock, Cloe Wood (Tyler) and Abby Phanithasack (Noah); his great grandchildren, Tyson, Cheyenne Byers, Kate, Jack Burley, Beatrice Brock and George Morrow; his brothers, Bentley Wood, Jackie Ray Taylor and Michael Wayne Taylor (Linda); Andy, Kathryn and Richard. He is also survived by children, grandchildren.
Although the last years with Parkinson's were difficult, Joe was determined to "finish the race" well and he continued to read his Bible, memorize Scripture and attend church, even just one week before his death.
