She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis G. Leverette (Jim) and Helen Leverette (McAfee). She is survived by: her husband Michael S. Bernard; her children, Malina Aleman (Chico) of Sherman and Eric M. Bernard of Sherman; her grandchildren, Mia Aleman, Trey Aleman, Rylie Bernard, Kinlie Bernard and Cason Bernard; her siblings, Donna Groves of Chico, TX, Pam Gurley (Jack) and John Leverette (Susan) of Sherman; and her caregiver Donella Staley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ladies Auxiliary of Calvary Baptist Church.
