She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Chisum and Annie Chisum; her husband Sam Hooks; and her siblings, Ruby Halcomb, Clara Francis, Pauline Roach, Melinda Taylor, Willie Chisum, Leslie Chisum and Mack Chisum.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Wallis of Pottsboro and Stan (Cindy Hooks) of Spring, Texas.; her sisters, Geraldina Briton of Hooks, Shirley Frachiseur of Grannis and Barbara Frachiseur of Grannis, Arkansas.; her grandsons, Toby Wallis, Paul Montealvo and John Montealvo; her great grandchildren, Kristina Kenney, Tyler Wallis and Samantha Wallis; her son-in-law Ray Wallis; and her grandson Carry (Jason Wallis).
