He is survived by: his wife Dianne Matthews; his children, Andrea Wagnon (Daniel) of Boswell, Michelle Johnson (Jordan) of Sherman, Leah Russell (Weston) of Sherman, Texas, Daniel Matthews (Jenny) of Sherman, Michael Matthews (Meghan) of Sherman and Andrew Matthews (Candice) of Bells, Texas; his grandchildren, Hannah, Bethany Wagnon, Jacob Matthews, Kyra, Amya, Atalie, Ezekiel, Zayn Johnson, Mila, Theo, Lyla, Harmony, Gracelyn and Carson Matthews; and his siblings, Carol Hicks (Larry) of LaGrange, Brenda White (Olin) of LaGrange, Danny Matthews (Margaret) of Rome, Ricky Matthews (Leisa) of LaGrange, Steve Matthews and Darrell Matthews. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
