With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayland Gregory of Sherman, Texas, born in Van Alstyne, Texas, who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Wayland shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Wayland farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis Gregory and Minnie Gregory; and his sisters, Geraldine, Mary Lou and Rheanell.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Marie Barber of Sherman, TX; his sons, Douglas Gregory of Arlington, TX, Bryan Gregory (Dannett) of Sherman, TX and Phillip Gregory (Cyndi) of Rhome, TX.; his granddaughters, Amber Bauman (Caleb) of Wylie, TX, Crystal Gregory of Rhome, TX and Zoe Bowen (Travis) of Burleson, TX; and his great grandchild Abbie-Jean Bauman of Wylie, TX..
