We bid farewell to Gina Valis (Shiner, Texas), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 21, 2026 at the age of 68. Gina touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Robert Wagner and Marthe Valenta Wagner. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Harper, Ava, Asher Valis, Luke, Hattie, Colt Spann, Francesca, Olivia and Madeline Shimek; her husband Don Valis; her children, Garrett Valis (Angela) of Huntsville, Haley Spann (Ryan) of Shiner and Jessica Shimek (Scott) of Shiner; and her siblings, Lisa Bunting (Don), Duff Wagner (Angie) and Kelly Sengelmann (Mark). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the St. Paul Booster Club or the Shiner Library.
