Bobby Gene Nickell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2025, at the age of 80, Bobby Gene Nickell in Silsbee, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Bobby farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bobby is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Wallace Nickell and Dessie Pearl Clark Nickell; his wife Rita Kay Thoroughman; and his sister Claudette Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Gina Kay Biegalski (Patrick), Karen Jeanne Wilson (Jerry "Bubba") and Jimmy Gene Nickell (Tammy); and his brothers, David Nickell (Deanna) and W. T. Nickell (Betty). He is also survived by six grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and a multitude of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, family have asked that donations be made to the funeral home.
