She was predeceased by: her parents, James DeBretagne and Laverne DeBretagne; and her daughter Deidre Hoke (Lucien James Pipps Sr.). She is survived by: her son Lucien James Pipps Jr. (Nina Pipps); her granddaughter Kadence Stewart; and her siblings, Renee DeBretagne Schmidt, Edward McDaniel, U. S. Marine Corps and James DeBretagne Jr. (Maetha DeBretagne). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lumberton Family Funeral Home (766 S Main St, Lumberton, TX 77657).
