He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Barnes and Earnest Nerren. He is survived by: his son Shannon Nerren (Sheri); his grandchildren, Kristen Robinson (Johnny), Kelsey Franks, Kyle Nerren and Kayleigh Nerren; and his brother C. W. Nerren (Greta) of Silsbee.
