He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Brown and Shirley Brown; and his siblings, Vivica David, Bonnie Self, Sarah Stark and Edward Brown.
He is survived by: his significant other Debra Brown; his children, Tony Brown, Joni Sheppard (Billy) and Rebecca Morgan (Jed); his grandchildren, Bridget, Bethany, Bryson, Morgan and Thomas; his sister Dena Whitmire (Richard); his brother-in-law Earl Hampshire (Selma); and his sisters, Tabitha Stark (Gary) and Carla Arrant. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews; and two grand nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church-Buna (39700 U. S. 96 S, Buna, TX 77612). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church (39700 U. S. 96 S, Buna, TX 77612).
