It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leanda Cherry of Silsbee, Texas, born in Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James "Leebo" Levester Carroll; her grandparents, Nora Dell Morris and James Oliver Morris; and her aunt Sandy Lynn Parr. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Cherry; her children, Joseph James Shirley, Lane Shirley, Easton Bass, Trace Bass and Kenley K. Cherry; her mother Wendy Ann Sjogren; her siblings, Schuyler Smith, Whitney Hanks and Patreya Tilley; her cousins, Colleen Parr and Cheyenne Parr; and her sister-in-law Tonya Wright (Troy). She is also survived by extended family, friends.
