He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Dorrell (Randy) of Lumberton and Brenda Buckner (William) of Carthage; his grandson Jeffrey Shavers (Leslie) of Conroe; his children, Jenny McCauley of West Virginia, Josh Shavers (Brooke) of Silsbee, Larry Shavers, Jr. (Scottie) of Spurger, Randy Dorrell, Jr. of Kountze, William Buckner, Jr. of Nacogdoches, Justin Mercer of Silsbee and Katrina Wimer of Beaumont; and his sister Mary Thompson of North Carolina. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
