He is survived by: his parents, Judy Ann Mullins and Rayburn John Hooks, Sr.; his siblings, Carolyn Little (Tommy) of Silsbee, Rayburn Hooks, Jr. (Jennifer) of Chester, Tootsie Jordan (Lee, Sr.) of Honey Island, Willie J. Hooks (Lydia Rodriguez) of Silsbee and Donna Nelson (Linn) of Caney Head; and his cousin Boomer Weeks of Silsbee. He is also survived by numerous friends, nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Broussard's (490 Cemetery Rd, Silsbee, TX 77656). A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Antioch Cemetery (1850 FM 1004, Buna, TX 77612).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
