He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Kayleigh Marie, Grant Alexander and Brayden Peltier. He is survived by: his wife Donna Samples; and his children, Michael David Samples (Melissa), Daniel Mark Samples (Christian), Elijah Parker Samples, Tara Michele Lopez (Steve), Jessica Ruth Smith (David) and Emily Michele Kostur (Damian). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery (9974 I-37 Frontage Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78409).
