He is survived by : his children, Domingo Rivas, Jr. (Marta), Jose Rivas (Julia) of Houston, Texas, Aurora Simmons (Joe) of Tomball, Mary Lou Lopez of Galena Park, Irma Olivarez (Juan) of Houston, Virginia Zapata (Jesse) of St Paul and Sylvia Rivas of Sinton, Texas; his siblings, Librado Rivas of San Antonio, Alejandro, Manuela Lacebal of California and Refugia "Lupe" Andrist of Lubbock, Texas; and his nephew Eliseo Rivas (Delia) of Sinton, Texas. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.
