He is survived by: his mother Janie Alaniz (Ramos) of Sinton; his children, Christian Alaniz, Faith Alaniz, Hope Alaniz, Michael Alaniz and Stacie Alaniz of Austin; and his siblings, Estella Caballero (Victor), JoAnn Serna, Michael Alaniz (Sonya), Johnny Alaniz (Margie), Christopher Alaniz and Gabriella Alaniz. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
