We announce the death of Frank Brandenburg (Sinton, Texas), who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Brandenburg (Whitehead) and Frank Evian Brandenburg Sr.; his son-in-law Michael Doria; his siblings-in-law, Rowena Brandenburg, Maria Espinoza, Olga Garza, Augustine Garza and Jessie Garza; and his close friend Delmus Hesseltine.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Brandenburg of Sinton, Texas; his children, David Brandenburg, Sr. of Sinton, Texas, Carol B. Pardo (Adrian), Margaret Doria of Sinton, Texas, Erica Cancino of Lewisville, Texas and Kevin Cancino of Princeton, Texas; his grandchildren, Ryan Brandenburg (Heather), David Brandenburg, Jr. (Daniella), Josiyah Cancino, Leslie Doria, Bethany Doria (Devyn) and Christian Reyes (Moses); his great grandchildren, David "Tres" Brandenburg and Romeo Reyes; his siblings, Sidney J. Brandenburg of El Paso, Texas and Evelyn Vauthier of Dublin, Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Janie Cantu (Israel) and Tony Garza of Sinton, Texas.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel (606 S San Patricio St, Sinton, TX 78387). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sinton Cemetery (106 E Borden St, Sinton, TX 78387).
