He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanda Mae Whiteaker and Jay Thomas Chambers; his wife Brenda Chambers; his brothers, Larry, Ronnie, Kevin and Bruce Chambers; and his grandsons, Joshua and Dustin Chambers.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Chambers and Donna Chambers; his sons, Michael Chambers (Amanda) of Skidmore and Richard Chambers (Jennifer) of Monahans; and his grandchildren, Cody Chambers (Rebekah), Mikaila Salinas (Isaac), Rylie Chambers, Chason Chambers, Colt Chambers and Beau Chambers. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel (606 S San Patricio St, Sinton, TX 78387). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Papalote Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to First Baptist Church Skidmore in memory of Mike and Brenda Chambers.
