He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Hattie Cave and Raymond Cave; his siblings, JoNell Cave, Calvin Drury Cave and R. D. Cave Jr.; his wife Geraldine Helpert Cave of Sinton, Texas; his daughters, Kim Kolodziej (Michael), Chris Maurer (Erick) and Julie Diggs (Brad); his grandchildren, Reagan, William, Taylor Kolodziej, Lauren Maurer and Logan Diggs; and his siblings, Preston Cave of Portland, Texas and Hattie Beth Cave Fojtik (Raymond) of Sinton, Texas. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
