We announce the death of David R. Salinas (Skidmore, Texas), who passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, B. B. Salinas and Amparo Salinas; his in-laws, Gonzalo and Maria Chavez; and his sisters, Lupe Salinas Gonzales of Corpus Christi and Thelma Salinas Heiser of Austin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jesse (Rose Mary), Ben (Judy), Johnny (Jimmie), Mike (Dianna), Celso (Charlene), Benjamin (Melissa) and Susy Salinas Roper (Michael); his in-laws, Ramiro Chavez, Minerva, Esther Vela (Sandy) and Sylvia Gonzales (Eddie); his wife Mary Alice Salinas; his sons, David (Ludy), Darrell (Missy) and Dwayne Salinas; his grandchildren, Meighan Salinas (Mario), Selena Salinas (Alex) and Isaiah Salinas; and his great grandchildren, Nevaeh and Avery Baldera.
