We are sad to announce that, on July 9, 2022, at the age of 81, Rigoberta H. Martinez of Slaton, Texas, born in Buda, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe A. Martinez; her siblings, Raymond, Adolfo Hernandez and Patricia Hernandez; her daughters, Suzanna Martinez and Adele Mojica (Sharon); and her grandson Justin David Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, David Martinez (Cecilia) of Lubbock, Henry Lewis Martinez of Slaton, Rick Martinez of Lubbock, Margie Martinez of Austin, Eva M. Smith of Port Charlotte, FL, Mary Martinez of Lubbock, Christine Pfiffner of Arlington and Loretta Martinez of Florence, SC; and her siblings, Charlie Hernandez, Ted Hernandez, Herman Hernandez of Lubbock, Niki Dominguez of Slaton, Olga Rodriguez of Lubbock, Yolanda Cisneros of Lubbock and Norma Vidaurre of Lubbock. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
