He is survived by: his wife Velma Jo Hampton; and his children, Bill Hampton (Sara), Barbara Moreno (Orlando), Ferman Lee Hampton (Debbie), David Hampton, Charles Hampton (Sherri), Dennis Hampton and Carol Mikulec (David). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.
