With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dave Fuqua of Smithville, Texas, born in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on January 17, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Ester Russell Fuqua and Joseph Ephraim Fuqua. He is survived by : his wife Susan Donnelly; his daughter Nita Fuqua Roach (Caleb) of Smithville; his grandchildren, Vivian and Elijah; his sister JoAnn Wolf of Smithville; his nephew Randy Wolf (Debbie); his great-niece Madeline; his great-nephew Evan; his daughter Laura Opela; and his grandchildren, Geoff and Zac.

Some of the other related groups he worked with were the Associated Builders & Contractors, the National Craft Championships, and the Construction & Maintenance Education Foundation, to name a few.
