He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil Adelbert Sampson and Ruby Estelle Lee; his former wife Evelyn Ruth Sayers; his son Delbert Arnold Sampson (Linda Richard); and his sister Laura Lee Bailey (Gerry).
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Belle Frazier; his children, Linda Lee Washburn (Kenny), Dean Austen Sampson (Janice) and Debra Corrine Akard (Mike); his brother David Sampson (Linda); his grandchildren, Sarah Driscoll (Ken), Kyle Wahburn (Rachel), Kendal Washburn, Dean Sampson, Jenny Daren Sampson, Derek Sampson (Jessica) and Jessica Oney (Tom); and his great grandchildren, Finlee, Brayden, Austin, Brooklyn, Penelope, Dawson, Flora, Frank, Claire, Drake, Deklin, Dakota, Michael, Grant and Grace. He is also survived by his family, his friends.
